[00:00:00] Foreign.
[00:00:07] Hello and welcome to your quiet prayer.
[00:00:11] This is your time, your special time alone with God.
[00:00:20] In these moments, these set apart moments.
[00:00:29] The world is far away from you and troubles and problems and schedules and people and things are far away from you.
[00:00:45] As you sit alone now with God in quietness, These are the moments that restore your soul and your spirit and your mind.
[00:01:09] So I invite you to close your eyes gently, like two petals of flower meeting.
[00:01:20] And I invite you to take a nice deep breath, breathing in the gifts of God and breathing out all hassle, all negativity.
[00:01:41] Let's do that again. Breathing in the beauty of the Lord and breathing out all conflict.
[00:01:53] All of it gone.
[00:01:57] For these set apart moments.
[00:02:02] You have absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go.
[00:02:13] Nothing matters except the silence of your soul and the secret place of God that you are entering.
[00:02:30] Let your whole body now just calm down and relax. Let your shoulders drop, your face be absolutely still. We carry a lot of stress in our faces.
[00:02:51] Just let your face relax your shoulders, relax your entire body. Just say, I'm going to be quiet now.
[00:03:11] As we take a look at Psalm 32, verse 7 that says, you are my hiding place.
[00:03:25] So this place that you are in now hides you from every negative thing, puts you into that secret place of the most high.
[00:03:39] Psalms 91 she or he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide shall live in his presence in his shadow. You can't have a shadow without a presence in the shadow of the Almighty.
[00:04:04] Rest.
[00:04:05] Breathe.
[00:04:08] To Continue with Psalm 37, you are my hiding place.
[00:04:16] You shall preserve me from trouble.
[00:04:20] You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.
[00:04:33] He goes on to tell you, I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.
[00:04:44] I will guide you with my I.
[00:05:00] Many sorrows shall be to the wicked. Verse 10 but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him forever.
[00:05:11] Breathe in his mercy now.
[00:05:15] His favor.
[00:05:20] As the negativity. Those things you're carrying, let it all go right now. Give it to him.
[00:05:33] Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous, he says.
[00:05:43] And Psalms 33 begins with really lovely words to remember in these quiet set apart moments.
[00:05:56] Rejoice in the Lord.
[00:05:59] O you righteous, O you child of God, for praise from you is beautiful.
[00:06:13] When you are here alone with him.
[00:06:20] Allow yourself, give yourself permission to be grateful, To know that nothing can defeat you, nothing.
[00:06:41] That one word of thanksgiving to God in these moments is beautiful to him.
[00:06:58] For the Lord loves you.
[00:07:03] Breathe.
[00:07:10] Rest.
[00:07:14] Psalms 4 or verse 4 of Psalms 33 says the word of the Lord is right.
[00:07:28] So what he tells you now of his love and of his goodness and his love of your connecting with him in these moments is beautiful.
[00:07:45] For it is.
[00:07:50] An act of praise when you release yourself completely into his will, When he says he will guide you with his eye, he is doing just that.
[00:08:28] He loves you.
[00:08:32] He loves these moments set apart with you.
[00:08:44] The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord, verse 5.
[00:08:54] And by the Word of the Lord, the heavens were made.
[00:09:01] O, rest in that awareness.
[00:09:04] Rest. Rest in the hugeness of your life and your eternal calling.
[00:09:11] And all the host of them created by the breath of his mouth.
[00:09:32] By the Word of the Lord, the heavens were made and the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
[00:09:43] Breathe in his breath.
[00:09:53] Let your breath and his be one.
[00:10:14] Breathe.
[00:10:17] Speak freedom to your soul in Him.
[00:10:38] And as he writes by his spirit in Psalm 34, O magnify the Lord with me. I ask, ask you to magnify him with me as we exalt his name together by breathing in his breath, resting in who he is.
[00:11:11] In these moments set apart, we don't ask for anything. We rest in his presence, simply sit with him in silence.
[00:11:29] Our hearts are silent, our minds are still as we magnify who he is.
[00:11:43] And you are his.
[00:11:55] In the stillness now.
[00:12:02] No, that you are his at all times.
[00:12:10] Loved, cherished and guided by his eye, instructed and taught by him how to rest in him and how to find peace.
[00:12:39] And possess it in Christ.
[00:12:49] To possess peace in Christ.
[00:12:57] I'm giving you peace, he says.
[00:13:01] You'll never find it anywhere else but in me.
[00:13:07] Not real. Peace eternal.
[00:13:17] For eternity lives in you.
[00:13:23] It tells us in the Proverbs, breathe and rest.
[00:13:56] You are beautiful, for you are a child of God.
[00:14:03] And when you praise him, when you thank him, when you rest like this, this is the time you. You really can be thankful and praise because there's no negativity around your neck pulling you down. No, no, no. You're free here.
[00:14:30] In quiet prayer, you're free.
[00:14:35] Floating in love.
[00:14:40] Yes, floating in the real you, the life of the real you.
[00:15:00] In peace.
[00:15:06] Come back to this place again and again.
[00:15:11] Come and rest in quiet prayer.
[00:15:23] Develop in your life a practice.
[00:15:37] Based on the love of God in Christ, which is permanent and transforming.
[00:15:53] Take another nice deep breath.
[00:16:03] And rest.
[00:16:06] And I will see you at our next quiet prayer.
[00:16:13] This is Marie Chapion, your friend.
[00:16:21] It.
[00:16:46] Sa.
